Denver 10 Years Ago...
Since
then we've grown to be one of the largest and best building
material stores in the United States, drawing shoppers from as far
away as Alaska. Bud's Warehouse is Denver's answer to
the rising cost of home improvement.
As a not-for-profit job-training program, Bud's
Warehouse offers over 20,000 sq. ft. of new and antique home improvement
supplies - all
donated by area contractors, builders, suppliers, and homeowners and
all at savings of up to 70% off retail.
Bud’s
Warehouse also provides the resources for Baby Bud’s, a baby
thrift store that employs disadvantaged single mothers, and the Good
Neighbor Garage, an automotive training and car placement program.
Shopping at Bud's Helps the Disadvantaged
Bud's provides career development training for individuals
rebuilding lives from poverty, addiction
or prison. Last year, Bud's self supporting and growing venture saved
society a total of $185,000.00 in social service costs for the 17 people
it served. It is predicted to save society a total of at least 2.6
million over the next ten years.
